The Certification Manager is central to the program’s adherence to NCCA guidelines, and as such, works closely with all certification staff members, the Certification Chair, the test administration company, the bookkeeper and any other professional needed to support certification activity. The CM also works directly with certificants and the general public on any questions or issues related to the Certification Program. The CM is held accountable for strict adherence to the Certification Program’s policies and procedures, as prescribed by the Certification Chair.

Ray orchestrated the initial accreditation of the Certification Program and continues to work with the Certification Commission on the maintenance of the program’s accreditation, continued growth, and development within the larger fitness industry. In 2015, Ray was awarded the Institute for Credentialing Excellence’s 2015 Credentialing Industry Leadership Award. In February 2016, Ray earned a certificate as Credentialing Specialist from the Institute of Credentialing Excellence (ICE). Ray holds an MA in Liberal Studies, and a BA in English. In his free time, he enjoys working out regularly and spending time with close friends and his adopted canine daughters, Mia and Penelope.

The Continuing Education Coordinator (CEC) is responsible for the approval of all continuing education presenters, providers, workshops, and petitions related to the maintenance of the NCPT credential. Paula joined the NPCP in 2020. She holds a master’s degree in Public Relations and Communication, she is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Florida, and she has advanced training in Neuromuscular Therapy, Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Mobilization and Chinese Modalities, among others. She has taught different subject matter and age groups throughout her life, including Anatomy, Kinesiology, Physiology, and Pathology. She loves reading, art in all its expressions, spending time with friends and family, and homeschooling her kids!

The Certification Coordinator (CC) advises candidates on procedures, dates, testing locations, forms, and any and all other relevant information regarding the process of certification and renewal of certification. The CC is responsible for whatever changes are required in the advancement of procedures, website upgrades, internal communication, and any other responsibility directly related to the growth of the Certification Program. Originally from Puerto Rico, Nelida joined the NPCP in September of 2019 to support the National Pilates Certification Program’s online certification renewal program. In this position, Nelida works closely with the Continuing Education Coordinator. Customer care, communication and problem-solving are among her areas of expertise. In her spare time, she likes traveling, writing poetry, watercolor painting and working to level up on her Muay Thai boxing.

The CC is responsible for whatever changes are required in the advancement of procedures, website upgrades, internal communication, and any other responsibility directly related to the growth of the Certification Program. D’Andra started off the new decade by joining the PMA in January 2020 as a Certification Coordinator with the National Pilates Certification Program. She helps to ensure that Pilates certificants complete their applications for renewal with ease. D’Andra graduated from University of Georgia with a degree in Advertising and utilizes her creative background for marketing efforts for the NPCP. As a New York native new to the Miami area, she enjoys relaxing at the beach, dancing, learning Spanish, and she looks forward to traveling to the Caribbean as often as possible.
